So, I asked myself: is it because I know how to do it, that I should continue to do it? When I look at the worlds’ most pressing challenges highlighted by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, I also clearly feel this is time to change career and spend my energy in something that better aligns with my current personal values, and what the world needs. I want to see people and living beings growing in a desirable world. Is it too utopic? Maybe. Is it worth to try? Absolutely. To be more specific, climate change is to me at the center of many crossroads. There is time pressure to change the way we make business and use our natural ressources and if not, many other things will derail: food supply, poverty, planet habitability, just to quote 3 of them. My intent is therefore to bifurcate to Sustainability and more broadly environmental topics. Already engaged in several initiatives (Team for the Planet, Climate Fresk, 2 Tons workshops, etc.) to have an impact on others to change habits and mindsets. What resonates in me? Nature, diversity, equity and inclusion, right to dignity. How can I leverage my past experience? Risk and process analysis, project management, and convincing people to change and do the right thing for our future. How would the others describe me in a few words? - Family and friends: kind, funny and handy - Peers: collaborative, resilient, solution oriented and compassionate - Managers: diligent, reflective, resilient, connecting people - Stakeholders: assertive, ability to remove obstacles and high ethical standards My mindset: « Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is a progress. Working together is a success. »
