In summer of 1999, 2004 and 2009 he served as committee member and Co Chair to International Consultation on Sexual Medicine, in Paris. He is a founding member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America; he was elected President of SMSNA (2005-2006). He has served the American Urological Association as committee member and author of Clinical Guidelines: Priapism 2003, Premature Ejaculation 2004, and Erectile Dysfunction 2005 and 2006. He has served the Board of Directors of the Florida Urologic Society and Southeastern Section of the AUA.
