Gregg Tolliver Email & Phone Number | After a superior, challenging undergraduate experience at Revelle College, UCSD, I was well prepared for medical school at Arizona. I was able to balance the expected information onslaught while contributing as student leader and editor of the student newspaper. Residency in primary care internal medicine at The Cambridge Hospital greatly expanded my medical and sociocultural skills. After residency, I worked as a IM hospitalist and an occupational medicine physician. Another fantastic experience was volunteering with Partners In Health, the best international health care NGO in the world. In 2001, I got my Masters in Public Health from Harvard, with a focus on International Health. During Clinical Fellowship in Infectious Diseases, at Boston Medical Center, I was able to see twice as many interesting cases as most ID fellows see during a two year fellowship. During my second year as a fellow, I did some infectious disease research at the Draper Lab at MIT, with a focus on tuberculosis. Since 2004, when our family moved to Marin County, I have spent most days at the hospital, seeing patients, educating peers, patients, family members, hospital staff. I've worked in synergy with colleagues at Marin County Public Health on all types of infectious disease outbreaks. Infrequently, I have served as the backup county Public Health Officer.
