In 2009, Governor Mike Beebe appointed Hale to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. He attended the University of Arkansas. Hale is an avid marathon runner and mountain biker. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time on his farm and with his wife, Mica, and their son, Eli. He resides in Little Rock.
