Made volunteer opportunities sort- and filterable based on relevant criteria like grade, subject, number of students, and school. Used jQuery to enable the user to search without refreshing the page, and to dynamically update the map based on search results. Created an internal messaging system to allow teachers and volunteers to coordinate and keep track of commitments more easily, instead of simply pushing users out to email.Designed a service to match postdoctoral researchers to lecture opportunities, helping them build and strengthen connections in their fields.
