Greg Cox Email & Phone Number | As the recently retired Managing Director of DML, I'm fortunate to have been able to indulge my love of the sea and the great outdoors. I have led a highly-skilled specialist team and have grown DML to be New Zealand's largest hydrographic survey provider. I am a qualified IHO Cat A Hydrographic Surveyor and have an extensive background in all aspects of hydrographic surveying with an industry reputation for being pragmatic, trustworthy and hard working. I began my career serving 13 years in the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Seaman Officer specialising in Hydrographic Surveying. On leaving the RNZN I established Discovery Marine Limited and was at the helm for over 23 years. In this time, I developed an innate ability to problem solve and identify creative solutions to complex issues. Managing teams across a variety of unique and challenging projects was always rewarding. I had an amazing team which made my role much easier! Over the years I have expanded my knowledge base from core surveying to encompass a broader range of marine related disciplines including port operations and engineering as well as maintaining an interest in marine related environmental projects and developments. I recently retired from DML and currently involved in part-time consulting on various Port and Coastal projects.
