  Gordon Mcmullan is a Career Summary I started my apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter in 1977 at H.M Dockyard, Rosyth and I left after 14 years having been promoted to the position of Electrical Commissioning Engineer. Looking for a new challenge I entered the Oil & Gas Process industry changing direction from Electrical to Production and I have performed in various Production Operations roles over the last 17 years. I have recently returned to the North Sea and am currently employed as a Production / CRT on the ETAP platform. I was previously employed as a CRT/Coach in Azerbaijan, part of a team responsible for running the East Azeri Platform and mentoring/coaching/assessing and motivating the local technicians in the duties and techniques required of them to operate the East Azeri Platform safely and efficiently in accordance with BP's Competence Management Assurance System. I have first class experience on new project work having been part of the team on three separate occasions (Janice, Captain WPP and East Azeri Platforms) which was responsible for taking a new build platform through the yard build, commissioning and system handover stages to first oil on site in the North Sea and Caspian Sea. This included integrating with Engineering, Vendors, Construction, Drilling and Commissioning teams, conducting system walk downs/punchlisting, witnessing key commissioning steps including participation in final Commissioning Test Procedures, leak testing programs and input into final Systems Handover acceptance.
