In 1998 the Croatian actor was offered by Madonna to appear in “The Power of Goodbye” video. His appearance got him listed among People Magazine “50 Most Handsome Men in the World”, and was voted Sexiest Import. But the biggest success in his professional career was yet to come. Namely in 1999, Goran Visnjic got chosen to play Dr. Luka Kovac in one of the biggest series “ER”. There he played the character of a young Croatian doctor who has lost his entire family during the war. More Hollywood roles followed, and the actor even made finals for playing the most famous secret agent, James Bond. However, the role was later given to British actor Daniel Craig. In his personal life, Goran Visnjic has remained friend with many of his “ER” co-stars. Goran Visnjic has also taken up several hobbies such as fencing, driving, swimming and diving.
