From the start, I took on the responsibility of managing network infrastructure and providing desktop support across the academy. These responsibilities continued with me as I was relocated to various Navy bases. In 2004, I embarked on a new adventure in England, UK, after leaving the Navy. While my initial years weren't spent in the IT industry, I continued to explore Information Technology through various courses until I secured my first IT job in Europe. Fujitsu became my employer, where I provided technical support, primarily focusing on Thompson Reuters. Subsequently, I transitioned to Aero Inventory as an Infrastructure engineer, overseeing operations across three UK locations. Unfortunately, my employment was terminated due to the company's declaration of solvency. My journey then led me to Xara Computers as a System Admin/Infrastructure Admin, which was followed by an enticing offer from Hitachi in September 2010. At Hitachi, I began my role as a Technical Immediate Support Engineer, later progressing to the L2 Technical Support role. In this capacity, I not only provided technical support but also took on additional responsibilities such as managing the Compute Infrastructure of the lab and delivering technical training. In 2018, I took on the role of a Senior Technical professional. I currently specialize in providing technical support for complex cases within the Solution team, with a strong emphasis on Compute/Server Infrastructure and VMware. Additionally, I play a key role in training junior team members, creating knowledge articles, and managing the Global Support Center (GSC) lab infrastructure. Some notable achievements I take pride in include completing my BSc undergraduate course in Computing and Information Systems with First Class honors. Moreover, my final project was recognized by the British Computing Society (BCS) as the best project of the year 2015. Beyond my technical interests, I have a passion for BBQ, enjoy traveling to explore different places and cuisines with my wife and two beautiful daughters.
