Glen Davenport Email & Phone Number | I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Measurement, Evaluation and Assessment program at the University of Connecticut. I began my academic career as a Physics major at the University of Maine. I joined the Physics Education Research Laboratory at UMaine and stayed for a Masters of Science in Teaching degree. It was during the writing of my thesis that I discovered the field of educational measurement. After a short break, during the 2008-2009 recession, I decided to accept an offer from UConn to make this interest into a lifelong career. My research interests are cognitive diagnostic assessment, strategic choices of measurement models, the use of diagnostic assessments in the classroom and science education research.
