These can be illustrated in his work for UN-FAO in developing project documents for GEF-funded natural resource management projects, for UNDP and AKF in the final evaluation of climate change and ecosystem restoration projects, and for the Asian Development Bank through coordinating and advising the implementation of a watershed protection project through afforestation activities. Dr. Poya is a multilingual and multi-cultural person. Besides his native Dari language, he has professional capability in English, Persian, and Pashtu, and conversational capability in the Japanese Language.
