Georgette Njambi is a Commercial Paralegal with an interest in finance and arbitration. I hold an LL.M in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London and an LL.B in Law from the University of Kent. Skilled in contract review, negotiation, and legal research. Experience as a Paralegal at Joseph Agwata legal team, working closely with the Litigation and Business teams. Comfortable in litigation, as demonstrated through a pupillage at Makadara Law Courts with hands-on experience in preparing draft judgements and documents for court hearings. Demonstrated strong research and dispute resolution skills as a Legal Intern at UNESCO, where I focused on GDPR and employment law. In addition to legal experience, I have founded Stories From a Suitcase, an online platform where young women can share their tips and experiences on travelling to different countries. I also served as a Kent Law School student representative and held leadership positions in various student organisations, including Kent East African Society and Kent Global Program. I was recognised for my contributions to student life and volunteer work, as evidenced by the Master of Elliot Award, Kent Union Bronze award and a Commendation from the Dean of Internationalisation. I am committed to promoting justice and making a positive impact in the community.
