George Washbourn Email & Phone Number | I am a recent graduate of University College London, having studied Arts & Sciences with a major in English and European Literature, graduating with a 2.1 (69). I completed my final dissertation focussing on the films of Wes Anderson, investigating the portrayal of the cultural trope of the 'tortured genius', for which received a high first. I am a highly experienced writer and editor, having attempted to procure as much media experience as possible alongside my degree. This has led to me writing widely for numerous publications, including The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The Times Literary Supplement, A Younger Theatre, Candid Magazine, and others. I have written extensively for both digital platforms and print, as well as having written in a wide range of different article styles, including long form essays, features, reviews, interviews, blog posts, and listicles. Channeling the editorial and team work skills I acquired from my tenure as Literature Editor for UCL's award-winning multimedia publication 'Pi Media', I have more recently been commissioned to edit, proofread, and help write a psychology book. This is a project orchestrated by esteemed social psychologist Sara Nasserzadeh, world-renowned for her work alongside such organisations as the UN, the BBC, and the World Association of Sexual Health, for which she is the chair of the Middle East Sexual Health Committee.
