I spend most of my time engineering cloud-based solutions of scale, supporting hundreds of millions of daily users while also balancing the needs of 10+ client teams. Sometimes this might be pioneering a hands-on migration to the cutting edge of Azure, directly saving us many millions of dollars yearly. Other times it may be architecting optimizations that save everyone time and sanity. When I'm not in cloud, I enjoy mentoring junior software developers both officially (through my alma mater) or unofficially and working on side projects. My hobbies also include video games, Sci-Fi/Fantasy Novels, and lots of travel!
