Along with previous sales and managerial positions held at ABB and other major suppliers of power plant and equipment, my career experiences and qualifications bring a wide breath of skills in both the regulatory and commercial environments. In my career to date, my roles and responsibilities have been focused on the activities of sourcing, developing and securing new and repeat business from major clients and projects. Along with this is a detailed knowledge of interfacing and integrating the obligation of the National Electricity Rules with regard to planning and securing customer access and connection to a power network. In brief, I bring an energetic, mature and professional level of expertise developed over many years of operating in large public and private organisations. This extensive experience in the operations of manufactures, suppliers and network owners, both locally and internationally delivers a unique perspective from all ends of the power industry environment. The above mentioned experiences allows me to offer a perspective of the issues and opportunities from “both sides of the fence” that will deliver realistic and workable advances in the ever changing energy markets going into the future.
