It was an incredible journey from my internship as a Reservoir Engineer in Alaska to working completions in Azerbaijan, Norway and Egypt. My roles as an engineer for bp included petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering, well interventions, completions and a brief stint as a commercial analyst. I have experience in the Gulf of Mexico, the San Juan Basin in SW Colorado, the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan, the Norwegian Sector of the North Sea, and offshore Egypt with the West Nile Delta and Atoll projects. Other locations I have minor experience in are the Powder River Basin (WY), Permian Basin (TX) and the North Slope (specifically Endicott) of Alaska. While the ride with bp came to an end, the journey continued with TotalEnergies as a consultant for 8 months on the North Platte Project and now I am with Hess Corporation as a staff Completion Engineering Advisor for the Gulf of Mexico. My goal is to remain in completions and continue in sand control and hydraulic fracturing, or take on a role leading a Team to design and execute high value wells. This could all be in the form of a Senior Completions Engineer, Completions Team Leader or Completions Advisor, but would also be interested in Senior Petroleum Engineering roles, or Subsurface/Production Team Leader roles. Specialties: Well design collaboration, sand control completion design and execution, expandable screens, openhole gravel packing, hydraulic fracturing, onshore gas well deliquification and artificial lift, coalbed methane operations, offshore operations, completion equipment specification. Locations I would be interested in: Denver or Durango, CO; Houston, London, Aberdeen, Stavanger, Cairo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, KL, Perth. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, bike riding (to the tune of 8000 miles per year), hiking, camping, and traveling (international travel!).
