Additionally, I am interested in AI-driven protein design by using Graph Neural Networks to predict protein sequences to bind small molecules. My research interests lie at the intersection of molecular biophysics, computational chemistry, data science, and applied machine learning. I have a strong background in theoretical and computational physics, with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from The Graduate Center and Queens College, respectively. I have also gained valuable experience in molecular biochemistry and cryogenic electron microscopy as a Research Technician at Prof. Reza Khayat's Research Group at Center for Discovery and Innovation, and as an undergraduate researcher in theoretical physics with Dr. Lev Deych and Dr. Igor Kuskovksy. I am passionate about discovering the biophysical principles that govern the structure and function of biological systems, and developing novel computational methods and tools to advance scientific knowledge and innovation.
