Galba Moita is a Inspired by a broad career and my varied personal and professional academic, managerial and teaching trajectories until I became a researcher in the field of public health governance, I like to adress multivariate problems and approach solutions by translating evidence from different areas of knowledge using qualitative and quantitative methods. I work very well independently, but I prefer collaborative projects with meaningful and relevant policies, aiming to apply information and knowledge for evidence-based decision-making, and using mixed methods, data and indicators. In recent years I have been working on research based on user experience centered quality and value-based system, measuring performance in health systems and evaluating the results and impacts. Now, I am working a field of research in Assessment and Intelligence in Global Health and Decision-Making Epidemiology The research has three major strands. The first focus is performance of health services and systems, comparative effectiveness research, performance measure and services outcomes research, health economics in LMI countries and applied epidemiology analisys. The second strand explores adoption and diffusion of innovations in health systems and innovative financing in global health. Prof. Galba is a co-Investigator and the joint lead for the innovation work stream at the FEUC-UCoimbra and Fiocruz-BR. Journey: Postdoctoral in Epidemiology Applied to Management (Johns Hopkins University - Bloomberg School of Public Health, JHUBSPH-2023) and Specialist in Epidemiology for Management (JHUBSPH-2022). Postdoctoral International Health and Biostatistics in the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (IHMT), University of Nova Lisboa (2021); Ph.D. University of Coimbra, In-FEUC School of Economics, program in Applied Science in Management-Decision (2019), and double PhD by the Univ. Federal de Minas Gerais (BR) in program in Administration. Master´s in Policy Development and Public Health in the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz-2019). Currently works as C&IT Researcher in Epidemiology, Evaluation and Governance of Health Systems and Digital Health in the Fiocruz-BR and Senior Specialist in Monitoring and Evaluation by Brazilians Ministry of Health. Sênior Visiting Research at CeBER - FEUC-UCoimbra. Took over as CEO of four hospitals (BR), for 12 years. Served as Professor in four faculties for 12 years.
