Through a unique process from The Walt Disney World Company she was selected to do her professional practices in Orlando Florida. She has always kept her passion for the flavors of her native Guatemala, always looking for creative ways of presenting this flavors to the world. She was awarded by The Walt Disney World Company for Foreign Student Excellence, This award is given by The Walt Disney world Company to foreign students that have accomplished exceptional and outstanding merits in their professional area of study, and because of this they have the unique and marvelous opportunity of doing their professional practices at the Walt Disney World Company. She also received recognition for having created a very unique and specialty 7 course Menu 100% Native from her home country Guatemala. This recognition was received for her very creative handling of flavors from her home country Guatemala in a specialty course menu. Gabriela is keeps promoting her Guatemalan’s flavors to the world.
