While a student at Florida International University I unfortunately had to endure many challenges which made obtaining my degree difficult. I managed to keep my head high and finish my degree in five years. My grade point average took a small hit but I recovered stronger and much more determined than ever. Through this experience I have discovered that I am able to accomplish the task at hand effectively no matter what challenge I have faced. My time as a student also allowed me the opportunity to learn a number of valuable skills such as problem-solving, group work, deadline management, and effective presentation skills. Not only have I dedicated myself to my studies but I have also balanced working and attending school as well. The skills I have learned through my employment not only aid my biomedical education they also aid the way that I interact with customers and potential clients. I have also gained flexibility in handling projects and school work while making both work effectively
