Beforehand, I worked as Assistant Professor in Public, Health & Industrial Procurement at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. I am holding a PhD in Supply Management and three Master of Science degrees (Business Administration, Psychology and Communication Science). I also worked several years in practice as public procurement consultant at PPRC in the Netherlands and in the global purchasing department of the Volkswagen AG in Germany.
