In addition, he was appointed by the United States Department of Justice as an examiner of the Office of Trustees to offer litigation support in the Bankruptcy District Court of Puerto Rico. He has a Magna Cum Laude bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. He has a Fellow in Healthcare Financial Management from the HFMA, a certification in Forensic Financial Analysis from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a certificate in Health Economics from Harvard Business School Online. He also received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Army of the United States of America.
