I have successfully managed, designed, developed and implemented numerous IT projects. ________________________________________ Wisconsin Department of Administration, Division of Enterprise Technology, Bureau of Infrastructure Services, Database/Data Communication Section Chief o Provide Oracle and SQL Server relational database management support to multiple agencies. o Negotiate service and commodities contracts with vendors. o Develop and implement database as a service for the State of Wisconsin. o Provide database support to agency managers and developers; advise and recommend relational database technology to assist in the development of new projects and to improve existing ones. o Manage agency database software and hardware upgrades while ensuring database support for agency’s critical 24/7 applications. o Supervise a team of 10 DBAs of various skill levels and ethnic backgrounds. o Conduct project technical reviews, staff meetings and conferences with staff to discuss development strategies and project progress. o Allocate state and contractual staff’s time to ensure adequate resources are available to address problems and carry out assignments.
