I like studying benthic ecology & taxonomy and it is important to me to evaluate opportunities by connecting fundamental research and regulatory frameworks. I'm experienced in organizing experiments, performing fieldwork and identifying marine (benthic) species. Additionally, I feel skillful in working on book publications, as a writer and as an editor. I like challenges and diversity in what I'm doing (fieldwork, lab work, theoretical work). I'm always looking forward to improve the environment for marine organisms in the North Sea and anywhere else in the world. In january 2016 I left Holland for a 4 month backpacking trip in south east Asia. Since July 2016 I'm happily employed at Bureau Waardenburg.
