I worked in my country for more than 7 years, starting as a production assistant which allowed me to understand the importance of each position. What viewers see on air is the product of a team effort. Journalism is a path of unlimited knowledge and continuous learning and that is why I love it. At a young age, I had an interest in world news - it was "magic." Through television, the anchors/reporters became narrators of incredible tales with unusual characters. It was fascinating how these people told me stories about what was happening in many places so far away, but much better than broadcast shows because it was real life! The world needs professionals willing to reinvent themselves on a moment’s notice, as facts are the result of history in the making and we have to discover and deliver those facts to our audience. In this industry, it is essential to be self-critical and we must always fight for our mission: journalism without impositions or commitments with any power. Journalism in connection with real people; seek the truth, which only appears by investigating. The great journalist, writer and reporter Ryszard Kapuscinski said, “To be a journalist, first of all, you have to be a good human being.” I believe that and chose this exciting profession because every day I have a chance to fall in love again with a different story but mainly to accompany citizens in their process as key players of reality.
