Fernando Muller Email & Phone Number | I am an experienced professional with more than 20 years in the Automotive Industry. In the beginning of my career I worked in the Coatings and Steel Industry. In these 20+ years I have participated in Greenfield and Brownfield operations working and collaborating with several units mainly from United States, Japan, Germany, India and Mexico. In the same timeframe I have worked in labor intensive manufacturing and most recent in automated spaces. I am a firm believer that clear and effective communication is key to succeed within natural cultural barriers. I have participated in two International Exchanges as an expat; the most recent one in Japan for two years in charge of deploying the company Excellence Operational System into six different locations with successful results in ergonomics and efficiency but specially by introducing a mindset of teamwork, collaboration and accountability. The other international exchange was in the US working in quality being the contact between the customer and the company within the new projects organization. Most recently as the Managing Director of Bilstein Mexico my main contribution has been to create a culture of collaboration and accountability driving an annual growth of 63% in the last two years. At the same time this year I am appointed advisor for a sister company working on culture and mindset aspects with successful results obtained. I am an enthusiast of Organizational Development and Strategy translation into action and I see these two as pillars for growth sustainability. With the years of experience gained I have been able to reach a certain level of expertise to the point these two are noticeable to customers, visitors and employees. Key Performance Indicators drive our decision taking in combination with Digital solutions to ease the work of our employees. As well as cultural drivers in the shop floor such as High Performance Teams, Six Sigma methodologies and our Bilstein University for all our employees. I am convinced Safety is key for Organizational and Operational development and performance, not only physical but mental safety. In this regard I make efforts on a day to day basis to ensure we as an organization have all measures in place. Lastly, I motivate myself on education. Recently I finished my Executive Program in Management in the Columbia Business School in NY. Every year it is a new journey to learn something new and apply it within my team and organization.
