Farshad Soleimany Email & Phone Number | I have been working at Montreal Airport (NAV CANADA) for 2 years . I am an avionic engineer. I have got an MA in avionic engineering and a PHD in Aerospace . my job is very challenging because of getting involved with repairing and fixing communication , Navigation and Radar equipment of airplane. There are different Navigation systems at an airport leading and guiding an airplane towards an airport and also during the en-route. The first important navigation system is DME (distance measuring equipment) showing the distance from the point locating an airplane on the air up to the destination airport.This equipment is both transmitter and receiver.it is able to send signal to 200 airplanes at the same time to show the distance of an airplane to the airport. The second important navigation system is VOR (VHF omni direction range) . This transmitter works in VHF band and guides an airplane towards magnetic north. there are installed in route and en-route to lead an airplane towards magnetic north. The third important one is NDB (non direction beacon) to show the direction of destination airport while an airplane is flying on the air.During the flight , a pilot will be able to find and arrange the direction towards the destination airport.The receiver of this equipment is called ADF( Automatic Direction Finder) located and installed in the cockpit. I also have international certificates ,such as CPE (certificate of proficiency in English) with grade B+, CAE (Certificate of advanced English) with grade B+, FCE (First certificate in English) with grade A , TOEFL ibt (Test of English in foreign language) with band score 118 and IELTS (Intentional English language Testing System) with band score 8.5 . I did all these courses in Cambridge College .I have also been teaching English for 23 years. I work at the airport in the morning , teaching English as a sideline. I have got my multiple Canadian Visa .It is still valid.I was in Canada 4 years ago due to taking part in an international conference .I had a lecture about ATSEP ( Air traffic safety electronic personnel).I got a large number of job offers from NAV Canada located in Montreal , but unfortunately , I missed all these opportunities due to lack of deadlines.Therefore, I applied for these positions in NAV Canada again. Finally,I was offered a great position as a flight inspector in NAV CANADA in 2020.
