From childhood, I have wanted to provide better medical treatment, not pharmacotherapy or surgery, but through our cells, DNA, and immune systems. So, I am passionate about stem cell and gene therapy. I want to bring a permanent cure to Neurological Disorders and Psychiatric Disorders. I had worked in 5 different labs and got trained under PhD scholar and Post-Doctoral Fellow. I am highly experienced in mammalian cell culture ( U87 MG, SHSY5Y, C6), MSCs (isolation and differentiation), iPSCs (isolation, differentiation and reprogramming), qPCR, ELISA, SDS PAGE and Western Blot with different assays like MTT, ROS, MMP, etc. I also have hands-on experience in different microscopy techniques like inverted microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, live cell imaging as well as FACS. I have experience in Alzheimer's (5XFAD) and Parkinson's disease animal models, primarily behavioural-based skills, as well as biochemical assays and immunohistochemistry. I am even familiar with bioinformatics techniques like molecular dynamics simulation with Desmond, protein modelling and programming languages like BioPython , R and MATLAB. My paper entitled" Inflammatory Response of Stem Cell Secreting Conditioned Media in SHSY5Y cell Line" was accepted for Poster Presentation at the CMC Vellore Bagayam Cell and Gene Therapy Symposium in September 2021 and IBRO Conference in October 2021. I am also a Mentor at Simply Neuroscience and the International Society for Chronic Illness. I am also a Reviewer of multiple journals like Molecular Neurobiology, Brain and Behaviour (Wiley),etc. I have published more than 20 articles in prestigious journals like Aging Research Reviews, PLOS ONE, etc including 4 book chapters. Apart from all this research, I am highly interested in designing and developing biomedical devices like 1. CRISPR-based Rapid Diagnosis 2. Advanced prosthetics, including Biohybrid Design and Bionic 3. Tissue Nano Transfection Chip for Neurological Disorders, Psychiatric Disorders, and Spinal Cord 4. Personalized Medicine for Psychiatric Disorders (Anxiety Disorders and Psychotic Disorders) I would love to be part of an eminent researcher working in the field of therapeutics like development of drugs including anti sense drugs, Cell and Gene Therapy (AAV) and personalized medicines. I rely on Bench to Bedside concept so I want to establish my own lab related to cell and gene therapy and establish my own diagnostic, therapeutics, and biomedical devices company.
