Ezra Nash Email & Phone Number | My working career began as a freelance youth trainer & facilitator, obtaining contracts to deliver tailored; developmental, community focused training courses to groups of young people & adults across the UK & Ireland. Through further studies, volunteering & full-time employment, I built a career based around youth engagement, facilitation & supported progression. Within my roles as a university Student Recruitment Coordinator & now Senior Officer, I incorporated this creative background to assist in the development & management of varied large-scale events for schools, academies & FE colleges. Including; representing the institutions at a range of HE Fairs, Exhibitions & through outbound activity, promoting degree programmes & raising prospective students’ aspirations. Roles that are inclusive of maintaining WP targets, delivering engaging outreach & increasing quality student applications through strategic recruitment, managed marketing & publicity content, while maintaining mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships. I have over 12 years experience of recruiting, supporting & line managing numerous Student Ambassadors throughout these roles. I further developed these skills and built upon my experience recruiting at Newcastle University taking the lead on developing a range of recruitment and WP events for year 12 students. With the largest being the lead delivery and organisation of the four day, year 12 residential summer school for 500+ students on a range of subject strands. My current role as Senior Recruitment Officer at Queen Mary University of London, requires the management of 45 of Target Schools and colleges to generate applications through campus visits and regular interventions. Further supporting recruitment though management of our 40 UG and PG students on the Unibuddy platform. I am continually looking for ways to develop my community outreach and ultimately support young people through further employment & volunteering opportunities. Outside of my working life I am a passionate traveler having previously worked around Australia post graduation and embarked on a 6 month solo backpacking trip through 11 countries during a voluntary career break. In addition I have been lucky enough to be involved in a number of volunteering projects working with young people in Africa, China and Thailand. Furthermore I am an avid supporter of the arts having had involvement in a number of performance groups, collectives and more recently producing events on a freelance basis.
