Evan Dehlinger Email & Phone Number | As a junior in high school, I decided to take the class Intro to Programming. I had always been a strong math student and the idea of typing out some code to make a computer do stuff was fascinating. I instantly fell in love with coding and became obsessed. I finished the self paced, 2 quarter class in 1 quarter and was invited to join the AP Computer Science class a quarter late. I was nervous at first; AP Computer Science seemed like a daunting class with my very little experience. But the class was no match for my love of coding and hard work ethic, and I went on to excel in the class, earning an A in the class and a 5 on the AP test. It was then I knew with certainty that I was going to be a software engineer. Present day, I am a Computer Science student finishing up school at the University of Utah, graduating with a bachelor's degree in May 2022. I am also a Software Engineer Intern at Total Quality Logistics where I add to and maintain their in-house websites and applications as a full-stack developer. I am interested in all things computers and love enveloping myself in complex problems!
