In that office, I supported efforts to advance juvenile justice reforms (such as "Raise the Age" legislation) and worked to enact one of ACLUM’s top legislative priorities last session, the Work & Family Mobility Act. I am a proud alum of Syracuse University, and New England Law Boston, where I earned certificates in Criminal Practice & Procedure, as well as Immigration Law, while serving as the President of the Student Bar Association. Before earning my J.D., I interned with CPCS in the Roxbury Public Defenders Unit, in the Appellate Unit of the Children and Family Law Division, and as an Immigration Law research assistant. I also interned with Greater Boston Legal Services in their Immigration Unit, with the MA Attorney General’s office in the Fair Labor Division, and with the office of State Representative Joan Meschino. Prior to law school, I volunteered on political campaigns and at ACLUM, where I discovered a love for legislative advocacy and policy.
