As a post-doc, I developed iPSC models of CNS dysfunction growing 2D cultures and 3D organoids to model HIV infection of the CNS. I also performed downstream processes like nucleic acid sequencing and analysis of such data. I am experienced in using NGS for target identification and machine-learning applications for drug discovery. As a consultant, I led several types of business development projects including partnering efforts, search and evaluation, competitive landscaping, revenue forecasting, and provided subject matter expertise for neuroscience and cell and gene therapy technologies. I expanded my knowledge to different therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, metabolic disorders, GI, cardiovascular, rare disease, etc.) and built proficiency in program management so that I could lead cross-functional teams of individuals that participate in the entire timeline of drug development (e.g. research, clinical, nonclinical, regulatory, CMC, commercialization). The majority of my consulting efforts were leading search and evaluation efforts on behalf of pharma companies and VCs. I have experience developing and using excel-based tools for data analytics and rNPV modeling; knowledge of R&D and manufacturing, clinical development, and commercial/new product planning; and creation and delivery of large-scale project communications to key stakeholders and executives teams. My goal is to combine my scientific background with ongoing development of business strategy to help bring novel therapeutics to market.
