My current interests involve my understanding of the intersection between technology and the flow of information. I hope to leverage my knowledge of computer science, along with quantitative and technical skills gained from my experiences in math and physics, to help me achieve this. I'm excited to graduate, and I'm excited to start applying the skills I've learned to problems I find worth solving. I'm proficient in both Java and Python, and have taken courses focused on data structures and algorithms, as well as online courses surrounding computer vision and machine learning. I've implemented computer vision software in a research-based environment, and have worked under deadlines closely with others in order to meet shared goals. I believe my experiences in math and physics provide me with the skills necessary to abstract upon complicated systems in order to understand them. My knowledge of computer science provides me with the ability to realize those abstractions in a physically meaningful way. And combined, I believe these skills have more than prepared me to have the type of impact I'd like to have on the world post-graduation.
