By the time I graduate, I will have obtained clinical experience interning at a university clinic, a local area school, and a local area medical setting. In the human services field, I have obtained many positions in both the healthcare and school setting. I worked at River Hill Assisted Living Home located in Duluth, MN, as a PCA where I assisted with personal cares, cooking, and cleaning for the residents daily while giving them the independence they desired. I have also provided childcare for private families for almost ten years and have also assisted with the Interact program for fluency concerns at the RFP Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at UMD in Duluth, MN. I have also spent my time helping in early-childhood programs and after-school programs in the Duluth area assisting with homework and supervising during free time. I hope to utilize my skills acquired throughout all of my experiences to become the most competent, practicing professional while helping clients achieve their goals in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Sciences and Disorders.
