I am an experienced board-certified Hematopathologist who is skilled in providing quality, large volume clinical care, covering anatomic pathology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and next generation sequencing (NGS), with a NYS Certificate of Qualification in Molecular and Cellular Tumor Markers and Histopathology. In addition, I have extensive experience as the Associate CLIA Laboratory Director at our Research Triangle Park, NC facility with delegated responsibilities ranging from managing validations and ensuring compliance with CAP/CLIA/FDA requirements. I've had close interactions with Quality Assurance, Sales, Information Technology, and Marketing teams; with extensive experience building and managing cross functional teams including monitoring laboratory quality and assay performance, physician education in cancer genomics, providing input on design, feature prioritization and troubleshooting new technology solutions, developing marketing collateral, and guiding product lifecycle teams. My background has given me strong data analysis capabilities that enable high-impact publications utilizing large datasets, with a publication focus on areas of: clinical utility for patient benefit, the genomics and treatment options for rare diseases, and the impact and interpretation of non-tumor somatic mutations detected during cancer genomic profiling.
