I've had a marked interest in computers since I was a preschooler. My dad (a programmer) bought a Commodore 64 for the family to use. It wasn't long before it became a fixture in our home, and as I grew older I found myself checking the local library for programming books and other items of interest to my growing hobby. This sense of wonder drove me to pursue IT as a career. I'm also interested in people. I see connections others sometimes miss. There's nothing I love more on a personal level than seeing two people connected in a way that benefits both. Part of it's an attention to detail, but a great many of these opportunities come simply from my interest in the human spirit. I also love Nashville. I fell in love with the city on my first visit in 2004, and though I haven't always lived here since, most of the time I have called it home. The tech community of Nashville is a warm, inviting, caring group of people, and I enjoy the many social and networking opportunities it has to offer. I live in suburban Nashville with my wife and four children. I am particularly interested in supporting the arts and education sectors, and am an active musician and composer.
