(To date over 2,500 have been produced.) -Collaborated with new customer to re-design and modernize their existing fleet of railcars. (Design has since been sold to additional customers.) -Worked with customer experiencing high equipment failure rate to investigate root cause and correct previous design deficiencies. -Travel internationally regularly to oversee production and address production issues at multiple sites -Designed products that have generated over 1 billion in sales over the last 7 years. -Tasked with designing in-house manufacturing and safety equipment requiring Professional Engineer approval. -Part of design team that developed and patented wheelset storage unit (US Patent 8,177,461. Transport and Storage of Wheelsets. Assigned to Gunderson LLC. 2012) Competencies: • 3D Solid Modeling • 2D Drafting • Finite Element Analysis • Project Management • Product Development • Understanding and applying industry standards and codes • Bill of Material management • Introductory Python programming knowledge
