Additional successes include fostering diversity and inclusion in staffing and programming as well as bringing together the diverse faculty, staff, and students in the School to increase cross-discipline collaboration and create a warm, collegial, and mutually supportive community. I have also led a 501(c)(3) performing arts organization as President, producing three full seasons of public events and winning multiple grants to support our activities, while building our community of concert-goers and supporters. As UCM’s Music Technology program coordinator, I created and developed a nationally prominent program, attracting students from across the United States and internationally to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees, who have gone on to achieve extraordinary success. As a multiple award-winning faculty member centered at the intersections of technology, music composition, and performance, my scholarly and creative work has been featured and performed hundreds of times across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. I am credited on more than sixty recorded albums and my compositions have been selected by juries for international, national, and regional conferences and festivals nearly seventy times to date.
