I aim to make all my lessons enjoyable, knowing that students are more likely to retain the content when they have positive memories of the lessons. I teach a broad spectrum of ages (from Grade 6 to Grade 12) in an international school context. I differentiate my teaching for varying abilities and make accommodations for those for whom English is not their mother tongue. I consider myself a life-long learner, and am motivated to learn and explore new online tools. I then use these within my classroom in as many ways as is practical. I have been an IB Examiner for HL Biology Paper 2 since June 2013 and the Biology IA since 2022. I am also a contract content writer for Kognity for certain sub-topics of the new Biology course (FE2025) I I also teach violin and have the ABRSM Diploma Teaching certificate.
