Emily received her bachelors degree in Fine Arts at Columbia University and worked as an actress in NYC, went on to become a TV agent in Hollywood – representing writers, directors and producers, and then spent 3 years as a development executive at Starz, where she ushered in shows such as Spartacus, Boss, and Party Down. Eventually, Emily went back to her home town, received an MBA from NYU, where she was served as president of the entrepreneurship club and ran a consulting program where students offered their services to startups in the NYC area. Post business school, Emily spent three years in media consulting, advising clients such as Viacom and Discovery networks on their branding and content strategy, primarily through social media analytics. After a brief stint in NYC real estate, where she worked on deals valued up to 50M, Emily finally decided to devote herself to her first and truest love – the world of food and wine. Emily is currently working on her level 3 WSET certification and is excited to deepen her commitment to business while combining it with her passion for food and wine.
