My research interests are assessment, task-based language assessment (TBLA), second language acquisition and learning, teaching methods, and social-emotional learning (SEL). I help students by: • teaching English as a second/foreign language for learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. • revising and modifying curriculum governed by data to meet standards and students’ needs. • working individually and with a team to get tasks accomplished to the best quality possible. • coaching and mentoring new teachers • coaching senior students to support younger ones in the “Social Support System” program that I initiated. • improving students’ autonomy, self-esteem, and presentation skills to become well-prepared competitors. • providing online education as a Google Certified Teacher and using Teams, Zoom, and Blackboard Ultra. • always learning and joining professional development workshops as well as presenting in and attending regional and international educational conferences. • being involved in research to find possible solutions to current problems in my fields of expertise and interest, beside collaboration with other researchers and educators.
