Elizabeth Mcmanus Email & Phone Number | Today I have the privilege of working for a community, and unlearning some of the colonial systems that are held fast in the western education systems. I get to help build tools and resources to help others working for the community find and deploy the information they need to further the goals of the community. My western education took me to a Master's in Archival Studies in April 2012 at the University of British Columbia. My research included investigating the documents generated by archaeologists during fieldwork in Canada and lead to my thesis titled: "Unearthing Archives: An Examination of Documents Generated in the Course of Archaeological Fieldwork in Canada". I also immensely enjoyed my undergraduate studies in folklore from Memorial University. And today get to incorporate the skills I learned there when building tools for oral history kits, transcription, and description.
