Elise Moers Email & Phone Number | Elise Moers (1986) received her B.Sc. in Physics at Hasselt University, Belgium and continued her education at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, where in 2011 she received her M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics. In her graduation research, she investigated the sound absorption by perforated. The research was performed in the Mesoscopic Transport Phenomena group. Subsequently, Elise started her Ph.D. research in the Dynamics and Control group at the department of Mechanical Engineering of Eindhoven University of Technology. The main challenge of the research project, in cooperation with ASML and Sorama, was to define an accurate vibration sensor system based on MEMS microphones that performs real-time. During her research, she focused on acoustical modelling to translate the microphone data to vibration information.
