Elisa Ried Email & Phone Number | I grew up in Medford, WI and attended Winona State University for my undergraduate degree where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education K-12 and Elementary Education 1-6. I started in Oregon in 2001 with a caseload of students mainly diagnosed with cognitive disabilities ranging in age from 14-21. In 2007, I earned my Masters of Science in Special Education with a Transition Specialist Certificate from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. In 2013, I added an alternative education license and you will find me teaching one night a week at Oregon Night School. I am a licensed treatment foster care provider for the state of WI and in 2011, I added an adult license for Dane County and have one 21 year old foster daughter placed in my home. I am also very involved with Special Olympics. I started volunteering in 1994 as a freshman in high school and then supported the gentlemen I worked with in a group home in their sports while I was in college. I have been involved with Oregon Special Olympics since 2001. I am the head coach of team basketball.
