Currently I work at Chalmers Industriteknik supporting research and industry with innovation management and innovation strategy. One of my current projects is with setting up innovation and IP-management for GATE a newly formed AI-institute in Bulgaria. "Collaborative Leadership and Innovation - Management, Strategy and Creativity" is my new book which is being published by Routledge (Taylor and Francis). This is a collection of my experiences but it is also a book based on current innovation and management research. I started out a a researcher with applied research with advanced ceramic materials. Later I became a project manager for both national and international collaborative projects. The Swedish Ceramic Institute where I started became a part of a larger institute group called Swerea and I got the opportunity to work with a wider range of materials and production questions. I worked as a research manager and CTO for Swerea until it became part of the larger RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. I also worked for RISE setting up their technology transfer office. My main technical expertise research area is in ceramic materials especially forming processes for ceramics. I worked on several project where we transferred lab methods into industrial production. I have a total of 20 publications in refereed scientific journals, 38 publications in peer reviewed conference proceedings, 3 book chapters in two books and 4 patents.
