Taking a systems leadership approach working collaboratively with colleagues across BHF Also has a keen interest in Public Health with a degree in Health Promotion and attained a post grad diploma in Public Health from Cardiff Univesity. Over the years at BHF I was involved in supporting the development of Heart Support Groups, managed and led a variety of funded projects and prorammes on behalf of BHF such as Familial Hyperlipidaemia in Wales, Cardiac rehabilitation and primary prevention initiatives via the BHF Hearty Lives programme, and the development and introduction of the BHF CVD clinical co-ordinator post aimed at supporting primary care; I worked closely with policy colleagues to ensure BHF were able to influence government leads on issues relating to CVD. Leading the evaluation of a variety of initiatives with key academic and NHS partners.
