Unfortunately, CarNext's B2C division was closed down a year after the new owners took control. 💡 How I work: ➩ Inspiring teams through a vision and by leading by example ➩ Back-up by data, and analytical, practical thinking 🧩 My next role: ✓ Commercial leadership with P&L responsibility for sales, marketing is a bonus ✓ For a company entering a new growth / scale-up / transition phase ✓ Selling 'emotional' consumer goods ✓ Through Retail, ecommerce & digital channels ✅ Under the belt: ➩ P&L management EUR 85 Mn ➩ Leading teams of up to 150 - Gen XYZ ➩ Multi cultural exposure: Europe & the Middle East 📣 Beliefs: 1. Customer journeys drive customer experience, in turn drives growth 2. Status quo is never good enough During time off I love playing golf ⛳️, travelling with family ✈️ and watching Formula 1 🏎. 🌍 Journey thus far: At the age of 30 my wife and I decided it was 'now of never' to pursue an expat experience. Dubai topped the list, and a 6-week job search resulted in a 7-year desert adventure. During my tenure in the Middle-East I helped multiple medium to large-sizes businesses (100-2500 FTE) to grow in terms of revenue, efficiency and market share. 🇳🇱 We returned to the Netherlands in the summer of 2015. Until the end of 2019, I established and lead Tele2's Retail operations, creating revenue growth by focusing on employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and digitally enabling store managers with e-commerce and AI solutions. After the acquisition of Tele2, I left the Telecoms sector and joined Wolters Kluwer where I was responsible for the digital transformation of the B2C retail & ecommerce sales channels and propositions. From 2022 onwards, I led the consumer department for CarNext.com in the Netherlands.
