Dorin Ionescu is a Some two decades of experience researching and managing grand challenge projects covering a broad range of topics in both the public, academic sector and the private financial industry. Research interests focus on complex systems dynamics incorporating multiple scales ranging from quantum dynamics in nuclear/heavy-ion collision physics and predictive modelling for global financial markets using high-frequency data on the microscopic scale, to the physics of earthquakes and seismic wave propagation on the macroscopic scale. Key results are published in over 50 peer-reviewed articles in leading international scientific journals on physics, computational mathematics and statistics and over 100 research & technical internal (proprietary) reports.
