  Donna Yadrich is a My 15 year old daughter, Audrey, died from complications of a lifelong serious rare disease. The experience of caring for and learning from Audrey made me proficient in what I call unsolicited wisdom. Since Audrey’s death, I share that wisdom through AudreySpirit, plus continue work Audrey started as an advisor for national maternal and child health programs. For 30 years, I’ve worked on National Institute of Health-funded research projects for serious health problems involving cancer and the inability to digest food and included family caregivers. Inspired by Audrey’s final hospital stay, I realized something more personal was needed, right now, to make living with serious chronic disease more dignified. After Audrey died, I continued to work as a research professional and also formed AudreySpirit, dove into entrepreneurship training, learned about product development and manufacturing in the USA. Originally designed to bring the comfort of a mother's embrace, our wearable comfort is so much more than a shirt, our brand’s signature product named WearOurCare Clothing. AudreySpirit worked with children and adults to design patent pending clothing that is as comforting as a mother’s embrace, hides medical needs, and maintains dignity when needing help for their health condition. It also takes away some of the worry that comes along with big health problems! Adults love it too. So, my life is dedicated to helping people fight and prevent illness as an innovator, as a research professional and as a nationally recognized public health advisor.
