Belgian based, Reco2Bio has specialized in the development of (barrier) packaging for different (food) applications. We develop for our customers a sustainable alternative for conventional (plastic) packaging and this based on certified compostable materials. All of these can be coated, laminated, printed or perforated depending the demand of the customer or the need of the product. On top of that we have possibility to put anti-fog, peel and UV-blockers on the substrates. All films are certified OK Compost according to EN 13432 (similar to ASTM 6400) or OK Compost HOME and have OK BioBased certificates to show the content of renewable material. All food packaging have food contact approval certificate according CE 1935/2004 and some even already according the new standard 10/2011. We have experience with fresh meat and fish, fresh poultry, sliced meat (wet and dry), cheese, and many dry food applications like rice, pastes, etc.
